Low Carbon Heat: Home Builders Workshops

The Heat Network Partnership are providing free workshops to support the housing sector in engaging with low carbon heat, what benefits it can bring and how to develop a strategic approach to district heating implementation.

STRUCTURE
The ½ day workshops will have a range of speakers including representatives from local government planning, Zero Waste Scotland and the housing sector. Low carbon heat will be introduced along with planning requirements, feasibility studies and design implications for district heating. Case studies of existing district heating networks will be presented and supplier networking will be available to explore schemes in greater detail.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The workshops will be relevant for organisations involved in both private and social housing development. They will focus on both the planning elements of district heating schemes and also consider some high level technical aspects.
